Last updated: February 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the "Auto-Expire for Google Drive™" Google Workspace Add-on (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Auto-Expire for Google Drive™ is a Google Workspace Add-on that helps users manage sharing permissions in Google Drive. The Service provides features including, but not limited to:
- Automatic expiration and revocation of external file-sharing permissions.
- Risk auditing of files shared via "Anyone with the link."
- Scheduled cleanup of external shares in designated vendor folders.
3. Eligibility
You must have a valid Google Workspace or Google account to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to manage sharing permissions for the files the Service acts upon.
4. Licensing & Payment
The Service offers a free tier with limited functionality and paid tiers (Pro and Team) available as one-time purchases.
- License Keys: Paid features are unlocked via a license key delivered to your email after purchase. License keys are non-transferable.
- Individual Licenses (Pro): Tied to a single Google account email address.
- Domain Licenses (Team): Valid for all users within a single organizational domain.
- Refunds: Since the Service is available as a free tier for evaluation, all paid purchases are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing use, contact us at support@nexergenlabs.com.
5. Permitted Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing Google Drive sharing permissions. You shall not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
- Redistribute, share, or resell license keys.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to circumvent license verification or access paid features without a valid license.
6. Google Workspace Integration
The Service operates within the Google Workspace ecosystem and requires specific OAuth permissions to function. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- The Service requires access to Google Drive to read and modify sharing permissions.
- The Service requires access to the Drive Activity API to detect file viewing activity.
- You can revoke the Service's access at any time via your Google Account settings.
7. Data & Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. The Service does not transmit your files or file contents to any external server. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- All risky files will be detected or all permissions will be revoked successfully.
- The Service will be compatible with future changes to Google Workspace APIs.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Auto-Expire for Google Drive™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access, or business interruption arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
